FAQs

This verse identifies Ativāha as a specific subtle passage associated with the nostrils, emphasizing it as the route by which liberation-seekers are able to proceed.

It links the soul’s movement to a subtle conveyance (Ativāha) connected with the nasal passage, suggesting a technical, prāṇa-related route distinct from ordinary gross movement yet comparable in function.

It encourages prāṇa-awareness and disciplined spiritual practice (e.g., breath-centered meditation and ethical living), aligning one’s life toward the goal of moksha rather than mere bodily pursuits.
