FAQs

The verse presents worship of Śrīnivāsa (Viṣṇu) as a meritorious act performed at a sacred site, aligning devotion with ritual purity to generate puṇya.

By emphasizing tīrtha-snānā (ritual bathing at a holy place) and Viṣṇu worship, it highlights purification and merit-accumulation—core supports for auspicious post-death rites and spiritual well-being in the Preta Kanda framework.

Perform sincere Viṣṇu worship and, when possible, observe traditional purification practices (like tīrtha bathing or its disciplined home equivalent) with ethical living as the foundation for lasting puṇya.
