तदेव विपरीतं चेज्ज्ञानाय परिकीर्तितम् / शिलायां विष्णुबुद्धिस्तु विष्णुबुद्धिर्द्विजे तथा

tadeva viparītaṃ cejjñānāya parikīrtitam / śilāyāṃ viṣṇubuddhistu viṣṇubuddhirdvije tathā

Mais si l’on proclame l’exact contraire comme « connaissance », c’est une perversion de l’intelligence : tenir une simple pierre pour Viṣṇu est une chose ; et de même, nourrir une telle « conscience de Viṣṇu » envers un brāhmaṇa est aussi prescrit.
