पाषण्डपतितानां तु न कुर्युरुदकक्रियाः / नब्रह्मचारिणो व्रात्या योषितः कामगास्तथा
pāṣaṇḍapatitānāṃ tu na kuryurudakakriyāḥ / nabrahmacāriṇo vrātyā yoṣitaḥ kāmagāstathā
Pour ceux qui sont tombés dans des voies hérétiques (pāṣaṇḍa) et pour les déchus du dharma, on ne doit pas accomplir les offrandes d’eau ni les rites associés (udaka-kriyā). De même, pour ceux qui n’observent pas le brahmacarya, pour les vrātya (hors de la discipline védique) et pour les femmes agissant uniquement par désir, ces rites ne doivent pas être faits.
