दन्दशूकादय: सर्पा राजन् क्रोधवशात्मजा: । इलाया भूरुहा: सर्वे यातुधानाश्च सौरसा: ॥ २८ ॥

Transliteration

dandaśūkādayaḥ sarpā rājan krodhavaśātmajāḥ ilāyā bhūruhāḥ sarve yātudhānāś ca saurasāḥ

Translation

Ô roi, les fils de Krodhavaśā furent les serpents appelés dandaśūka, ainsi que d’autres serpents et même les moustiques et insectes. Du sein d’Ilā naquirent toutes les lianes, les arbres et les plantes. Du sein de Surasā naquirent les yātudhānas : rākṣasas et esprits malfaisants.
