Vārkṣī is the named maiden offered in marriage in this verse, presented as an excellent and suitable wife within the creation/progeny narrative of Canto 6, Chapter 4.
He redirects the listeners from grief over loss toward restoring order and auspiciousness through dharmic action—here, by arranging marriage and continuing prescribed duties.
