Diti’s Puṁsavana Vow, Indra’s Intervention, and the Birth of the Maruts

श्रीशुक उवाच इन्द्रस्तयाभ्यनुज्ञात: शुद्धभावेन तुष्टया । मरुद्भ‍ि: सह तां नत्वा जगाम त्रिदिवं प्रभु: ॥ ७७ ॥

śrī-śuka uvāca indras tayābhyanujñātaḥ śuddha-bhāvena tuṣṭayā marudbhiḥ saha tāṁ natvā jagāma tri-divaṁ prabhuḥ

Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī poursuivit : Diti, très satisfaite de la conduite pure d’Indra, lui donna sa permission. Alors Indra, avec les Maruts, se prosterna maintes fois devant sa tante et partit vers les mondes célestes.
