Diti’s Puṁsavana Vow, Indra’s Intervention, and the Birth of the Maruts
श्रीकश्यप उवाच वरं वरय वामोरु प्रीतस्तेऽहमनिन्दिते । स्त्रिया भर्तरि सुप्रीते क: काम इह चागम: ॥ ३२ ॥
śrī-kaśyapa uvāca varaṁ varaya vāmoru prītas te ’ham anindite striyā bhartari suprīte kaḥ kāma iha cāgamaḥ
Kaśyapa Muni dit : « Ô femme aux beaux cuisses, ô irréprochable, je suis très satisfait de ta conduite. Demande la bénédiction que tu veux. Quand l’époux est content, quel désir serait difficile à obtenir pour l’épouse, en ce monde ou dans l’autre ? »
