Citraketu’s Detachment, Nārada’s Mantra, and the Darśana of Anantadeva
This verse depicts the soul being instructed to re-enter the body and continue life, indicating that by higher arrangement a jīva can be restored to embodied life and resume worldly duties.
In the narrative, the bereaved king’s son is brought back by divine intervention; the instruction emphasizes resuming destined life and kingship rather than remaining in a disembodied state.
It highlights responsibility: accept the remaining time allotted, live supported by well-wishers, and perform one’s duties without excessive lamentation.
