Vṛtrāsura Rebukes Indra; Heroic Combat and the Asura’s Pure Devotional Prayers
एवं सुरगणान् क्रुद्धो भीषयन् वपुषा रिपून् । व्यनदत् सुमहाप्राणो येन लोका विचेतस: ॥ ६ ॥
evaṁ sura-gaṇān kruddho bhīṣayan vapuṣā ripūn vyanadat sumahā-prāṇo yena lokā vicetasaḥ
Śukadeva Gosvāmī dit : Vṛtrāsura, héros courroucé et d’une puissance immense, épouvanta les demi-dieux par son corps massif et solidement bâti. Lorsqu’il rugit d’une voix retentissante, les êtres des mondes faillirent s’évanouir.
