Dadhīci’s Supreme Charity and the Opening of Indra’s War with Vṛtrāsura

यताक्षासुमनोबुद्धिस्तत्त्वद‍ृग् ध्वस्तबन्धन: । आस्थित: परमं योगं न देहं बुबुधे गतम् ॥ १२ ॥

yatākṣāsu-mano-buddhis tattva-dṛg dhvasta-bandhanaḥ āsthitaḥ paramaṁ yogaṁ na dehaṁ bubudhe gatam

Dadhīci maîtrisa les sens, le souffle vital, le mental et l’intelligence; voyant la vérité, il brisa tous les liens. Établi dans le yoga suprême, il ne perçut même pas quand son corps se détacha de lui.

Because his consciousness was established in the highest yoga—complete spiritual absorption—his bondage to bodily awareness was destroyed, so the physical event of death did not dominate his awareness.

Practice steady remembrance of the Supreme through daily sādhana—hearing, chanting, prayer, and self-discipline—so the mind and intelligence become trained to stay spiritually focused even amid fear, loss, or crisis.
