Nṛsiṁhadeva Appears from the Pillar and Slays Hiraṇyakaśipu
श्रीवैतालिका ऊचु: सभासु सत्रेषु तवामलं यशो गीत्वा सपर्यां महतीं लभामहे । यस्तामनैषीद् वशमेष दुर्जनो द्विष्टया हतस्ते भगवन्यथामय: ॥ ५४ ॥
śrī-vaitālikā ūcuḥ sabhāsu satreṣu tavāmalaṁ yaśo gītvā saparyāṁ mahatīṁ labhāmahe yas tām anaiṣīd vaśam eṣa durjano dviṣṭyā hatas te bhagavan yathāmayaḥ
Les habitants de Vaitālika-loka dirent : Ô Seigneur, en chantant Ta gloire sans tache dans les grandes assemblées et les arènes du yajña, nous recevions un grand respect. Mais ce démon impie a usurpé cette place. Aujourd’hui, par Ta grâce, Tu l’as abattu, comme on guérit une maladie chronique.
