This verse shows the Lord personally reassuring the devas—“Do not be afraid”—and then acting decisively to protect them, illustrating that divine shelter replaces fear with confidence.
After the turmoil caused by demoniac power, the Lord comforts the devas and then demonstrates His protection by releasing His weapon to neutralize the threat.
Take shelter of Bhagavān through prayer and steady bhakti, and then do your duty with courage—trusting that the Lord’s protection accompanies sincere surrender.
