Transliteration

śrī-śuka uvāca nābhir apatya-kāmo ’prajayā merudevyā bhagavantaṁ yajña-puruṣam avahitātmāyajata.

Śrī Śukadeva dit : Désireux d’avoir des fils, le roi Nābhi, avec son épouse Merudevī alors sans enfant, adora d’un esprit recueilli Bhagavān Viṣṇu, le Yajña-puruṣa, maître des sacrifices.
