FAQs

This verse states that the people of that region worship the Supreme Lord by performing their allotted work and rites, showing that duty (karma) can be offered as worship (ārādhana) when centered on Bhagavān.

Śukadeva explains that the same Supreme Lord is approached through particular forms in different regions; here He is worshiped as Brahmā, highlighting the Lord’s governance of creation and the cosmic order.

Treat your daily responsibilities as an offering to God—do your work conscientiously, align it with dharma, and dedicate the results to the Supreme; this turns ordinary action into devotion.
