पुरुषावयवैर्लोका: सपाला: पूर्वकल्पिता: । लोकैरमुष्यावयवा: सपालैरिति शुश्रुम ॥ ११ ॥

Transliteration

puruṣāvayavair lokāḥ sapālāḥ pūrva-kalpitāḥ lokair amuṣyāvayavāḥ sa-pālair iti śuśruma

Translation

Ô brāhmaṇa savant, il fut dit autrefois que tous les lokas, avec leurs gouverneurs, se trouvent dans les divers membres du corps gigantesque du Virāṭ-Puruṣa. J’ai aussi entendu que les systèmes planétaires sont conçus dans ce même corps; mais quelle est leur position véritable ? Je t’en prie, explique-la.
