Bhāgavata-Māhātmya and the Complete Summary of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam
This verse states that narrating and hearing the glories of Vāsudeva—whose deeds are supremely worthy of discussion—destroys all inauspiciousness.
Sūta Gosvāmī is speaking to the sages at Naimiṣāraṇya, honoring them as learned brāhmaṇas and concluding his spoken summary of Vāsudeva’s greatness.
Make time for regular hearing, reading, or reciting Kṛṣṇa-kathā and Bhāgavata teachings; the verse emphasizes this as a direct means to cleanse negativity and cultivate auspiciousness.
