Bhāgavata-Māhātmya and the Complete Summary of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam
This verse says that repeatedly singing the glories of Uttamaśloka (the Supreme Lord) is ever-fresh and delightful, becomes a constant festival for the mind, and dries up the ocean of human sorrow.
As he concludes the Bhāgavatam’s summary, Śukadeva highlights the essential practice for Kali-yuga—hearing and chanting the Lord’s fame—because it directly purifies the heart and removes grief.
Make daily time for kīrtana or recitation of Bhagavatam/Kṛṣṇa-kathā; the verse teaches that consistent glorification renews the mind’s joy and steadily reduces anxiety and sorrow.
