Bhagavatam 12.11.36 names Vasiṣṭha, Varuṇa, Rambhā, Sahajanya, Huhū, Śukra, and Citrasvana as the beings who preside over and “conduct” the month Śuci.
In Canto 12, Chapter 11, Śukadeva explains Vedic cosmology and sacred timekeeping, describing how the Sun’s course is accompanied by specific divine administrators for each month.
It trains a devotee to see time as sacred and governed by divine order, encouraging mindfulness, gratitude, and disciplined spiritual practice throughout the changing months.
