This verse states that after hearing the Lord’s words, the king’s brothers were “strengthened by Viṣṇu’s tejas,” indicating that righteous action becomes effective and protected when aligned with the Lord’s will and empowered by His potency.
After being pleased by the Lord’s instruction, he organized his brothers for a directional conquest—an act associated with establishing order and sovereignty—showing how royal duty can proceed under divine guidance rather than mere ambition.
The verse highlights that attentive hearing of divine teachings brings clarity and joy, and then translates into purposeful action—encouraging one to act decisively and ethically after grounding decisions in spiritual wisdom.
