Pūtanā-mokṣa — The Witch Pūtanā’s Attempt and Kṛṣṇa’s Deliverance
गोमूत्रेण स्नापयित्वा पुनर्गोरजसार्भकम् । रक्षां चक्रुश्च शकृता द्वादशाङ्गेषु नामभि: ॥ २० ॥
go-mūtreṇa snāpayitvā punar go-rajasārbhakam rakṣāṁ cakruś ca śakṛtā dvādaśāṅgeṣu nāmabhiḥ
L'enfant fut soigneusement lavé avec de l'urine de vache, puis enduit de la poussière soulevée par les mouvements des vaches. Ensuite, différents noms du Seigneur furent appliqués avec de la bouse de vache sur douze parties différentes de Son corps, en commençant par le front, comme on le fait pour appliquer le tilaka. De cette manière, l'enfant reçut une protection.
