This verse highlights dharmic hospitality—rising to greet, offering a seat, and giving respectful worship—showing that true honor is expressed through humble service.
Because the Supreme Lord is worthy of worship from all, regardless of worldly seniority; the king’s humility shows devotion and proper recognition of the Lord’s supreme position.
Practice reverence through simple acts—greet respectfully, offer a place and attention, and serve with humility—especially toward saints, elders, and devotees, seeing service as an expression of bhakti.
