The Killing of Keśī and Vyomāsura; Nārada’s Prophetic Praise of Kṛṣṇa
विशुद्धविज्ञानघनं स्वसंस्थया समाप्तसर्वार्थममोघवाञ्छितम् । स्वतेजसा नित्यनिवृत्तमाया- गुणप्रवाहं भगवन्तमीमहि ॥ २२ ॥
viśuddha-vijñāna-ghanaṁ sva-saṁsthayā samāpta-sarvārtham amogha-vāñchitam sva-tejasā nitya-nivṛtta-māyā- guṇa-pravāhaṁ bhagavantam īmahi
Ô Bhagavān, nous cherchons refuge en Toi. Tu es la plénitude d’une conscience spirituelle parfaitement pure et Tu demeures à jamais établi dans Ton identité originelle. Ta volonté n’est jamais contrecarrée; ainsi Tu as déjà tout accompli, et par la puissance de Ton énergie divine Tu restes éternellement au-delà du courant des qualités de la māyā.
This verse states that by His own effulgence the Lord eternally causes the flow of māyā’s modes to cease in relation to Him—He is self-established, pure consciousness, and untouched by material qualities.
He emphasizes the Lord’s absolute sovereignty: unlike conditioned beings whose plans are obstructed by karma and time, the Supreme Lord’s will is always fulfilled because everything rests within Him.
Regular remembrance and meditation on the Lord’s transcendence helps one detach from the push of the modes (guṇas) and live with clearer discernment, steadier mind, and devotion-centered priorities.
