The Appearance of Lord Viṣṇu (Kṛṣṇa) and the Divine Exchange with Yoga-māyā
As stated in the Brahma-saṁhitā (5.52) :
This verse describes Time—from a blink to years—as Krishna’s own mighty power that moves the universe, affirming Him as the supreme controller behind cosmic change.
Seeing the Lord’s divine presence, Devaki recognizes that even time and motion operate under Him, so she takes shelter of Him as the only safe refuge amid fear of Kamsa and worldly danger.
By remembering that time is under the Lord’s control, one can reduce anxiety about change and loss, and practice steady devotion and surrender to Krishna as the true source of security.
