The Vraja Elders Question Kṛṣṇa’s Identity; Nanda Recounts Garga’s Prophecy
एष व: श्रेय आधास्यद् गोपगोकुलनन्दन: । अनेन सर्वदुर्गाणि यूयमञ्जस्तरिष्यथ ॥ १९ ॥
eṣa vaḥ śreya ādhāsyad gopa-gokula-nandanaḥ anena sarva-durgāṇi yūyam añjas tariṣyatha
Cet enfant, la joie des bouviers et de Gokula, vous apportera toujours le plus grand auspice et accroîtra votre félicité transcendante; par Sa seule grâce, vous franchirez aisément toutes les épreuves.
This verse says that Kṛṣṇa, the delight of Gokula, grants the highest good and that by taking shelter of Him one can easily cross all dangers.
While narrating the Vraja pastimes surrounding Nanda’s deliverance, Śukadeva highlights Kṛṣṇa’s role as the ultimate protector and benefactor of His devotees.
Face obstacles with conscious dependence on Kṛṣṇa—through prayer, remembrance, and steady devotional practice—trusting that sincere surrender brings guidance and protection through hardships.
