ध्रुवाय पथि दृष्टाय तत्र तत्र पुरस्त्रिय: । सिद्धार्थाक्षतदध्यम्बुदूर्वापुष्पफलानि च ॥ ५८ ॥ उपजह्रु: प्रयुञ्जाना वात्सल्यादाशिष: सती: । शृण्वंस्तद्वल्गुगीतानि प्राविशद्भवनं पितु: ॥ ५९ ॥
dhruvāya pathi dṛṣṭāya tatra tatra pura-striyaḥ siddhārthākṣata-dadhy-ambu- dūrvā-puṣpa-phalāni ca
Lorsque Dhruva Mahārāja passait sur la route, les douces femmes du voisinage accouraient de partout pour le voir; par tendresse maternelle elles le bénissaient en répandant moutarde blanche, orge, caillé, eau, herbe dūrvā nouvelle, fruits et fleurs. Entendant leurs chants gracieux, Dhruva entra dans le palais de son père.
This verse lists mustard seeds, unbroken rice, yogurt, water, durvā grass, flowers, and fruits as auspicious offerings used to honor Dhruva Mahārāja.
Dhruva had returned as a spiritually accomplished devotee and celebrated prince; the women honored him with traditional auspicious articles as a sign of reverence and blessing.
