Dakṣa’s Sacrifice Restored: Śiva’s Mercy and Nārāyaṇa’s Appearance
तत्तेजसा हतरुच: सन्नजिह्वा: ससाध्वसा: । मूर्ध्ना धृताञ्जलिपुटा उपतस्थुरधोक्षजम् ॥ २३ ॥
tat-tejasā hata-rucaḥ sanna-jihvāḥ sa-sādhvasāḥ mūrdhnā dhṛtāñjali-puṭā upatasthur adhokṣajam
Devant l’éclat aveuglant de la splendeur corporelle de Nārāyaṇa, toute autre lumière pâlit et les langues se turent. Saisis d’une crainte révérencielle mêlée de dévotion, les présents joignirent les mains, les portèrent à leur tête et se préparèrent à offrir des prières à Adhokṣaja, la Suprême Personne divine.
