Pṛthu Mahārāja Milks the Earth (Bhūmi-dugdha) and Organizes Human Settlement
सन्नियच्छाभिभो मन्युं निबोध श्रावितं च मे । सर्वत: सारमादत्ते यथा मधुकरो बुध: ॥ २ ॥
sanniyacchābhibho manyuṁ nibodha śrāvitaṁ ca me sarvataḥ sāram ādatte yathā madhu-karo budhaḥ
Ô Seigneur, apaise entièrement Ta colère et écoute avec patience ce que je viens Te soumettre. Même si je suis démunie, le sage recueille l’essence en tout lieu, comme le bourdon prend le miel de chaque fleur.
