The Appearance of Vāmanadeva and His Arrival at Bali’s Sacrifice
दिश: प्रसेदु: सलिलाशयास्तदा प्रजा: प्रहृष्टा ऋतवो गुणान्विता: । द्यौरन्तरीक्षं क्षितिरग्निजिह्वा गावो द्विजा: सञ्जहृषुर्नगाश्च ॥ ४ ॥
diśaḥ praseduḥ salilāśayās tadā prajāḥ prahṛṣṭā ṛtavo guṇānvitāḥ dyaur antarīkṣaṁ kṣitir agni-jihvā gāvo dvijāḥ sañjahṛṣur nagāś ca
En ce temps-là, toutes les directions s’emplirent de félicité; les rivières, les océans et les réservoirs d’eau se réjouirent, et les peuples furent transportés de joie. Les saisons manifestèrent leurs qualités propres. Les êtres du ciel, de l’espace et de la terre exultèrent; les devas, les vaches, les brāhmaṇas et les montagnes furent tous comblés d’allégresse.
