The Future Manus and the Avatāras in Their Manvantaras
They are described as the two wives of Vivasvān (the sun-god), both being daughters of Viśvakarmā.
Because this chapter continues a genealogical narration connected to the Manus, and Śukadeva references earlier explanations to keep the lineage account coherent for Parīkṣit.
The Bhagavatam often teaches through sacred lineages—encouraging readers to study spiritual teachings in context, with continuity and attentiveness rather than as isolated quotes.
