Indra Slays Namuci—The Limits of Power and the Triumph of Divine Strategy
येन मे पूर्वमद्रीणां पक्षच्छेद: प्रजात्यये । कृतो निविशतां भारै: पतत्त्रै: पततां भुवि ॥ ३४ ॥
yena me pūrvam adrīṇāṁ pakṣa-cchedaḥ prajātyaye kṛto niviśatāṁ bhāraiḥ patattraiḥ patatāṁ bhuvi
Indra pensa : «Autrefois, au temps du pralaya, avec ce même foudre j’ai tranché les ailes des montagnes ailées qui parcouraient le ciel ; sous leur poids elles tombaient sur la terre et tuaient les hommes.»
