ये ते शृङ्गे अजरे जातवेदस्तिग्महेती ब्रह्मसंशिते । ताभ्यां दुर्हार्दमभिदासन्तं किमीदिनं प्रत्यञ्चमर्चिषा जातवेदो वि निक्ष्व
yé te śṛ́ṅge ajáre jātávedas tigmá-hetī bráhma-saṁśite | tā́bhyāṁ durhā́rdam abhídāsantaṁ kīmīdínaṁ pratyáñcam arcíṣā jātavedo ví nikṣva
Those horns of thine, unaging Jātavedas, sharp-weaponed, whetted by the holy spell—with those twain, with flame, thrust down and scatter the hard-hearted Kīmīdin, who assaileth, turned full against us.
Ces deux cornes qui sont tiennes, Jātavedas sans vieillesse, aux armes aiguës, affûtées par le Brahman—par elles deux, par la flamme, renverse et disperse le Kīmīdin au cœur dur, l’assaillant tourné tout contre nous, ô Jātavedas; précipite-le.
