Sukta 109
अप्सरसः सधमादं मदन्ति हविर्धानमन्तरा सूर्यं च । ता मे हस्तौ सं सृजन्तु घृतेन सपत्नं मे कितवं रन्धयन्तु
apsárasaḥ sadhámādaṁ madanti havirdhā́nam antárā sū́ryaṁ ca | tā́ me hástau sáṁ sṛjantu ghṛténa sapatnáṁ me kitaváṁ randhayantu ||
The Apsarases revel in common mirth betwixt the offering-place and the Sun. Let them with ghee set my hands in order; let them subdue for me the rival, the cheating gamester.
Les Apsaras se réjouissent d’une joie commune entre le lieu d’offrande et le Soleil. Qu’avec le ghee elles mettent mes mains en bon ordre ; qu’elles soumettent pour moi le rival, le joueur de dés trompeur.
