Sukta 93
mánasā homáir hárasā ghṛténa śárvāyā́stre utá rā́jñe bhávāya | namasyé’bhyo náma ebhyaḥ kṛṇomy anyátrā́smád agháviṣā nayantu ||
With mind, with oblations, with ardent force, with ghee, to Śarva, to the Weapon, and to the King, to Bhava—unto the reverence-worthy I make obeisance, obeisance unto these: let the evil-venomed bear (their bane) elsewhere, away from us.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (Aṅgiras/Atharvan line; hymn ascribed variably in ancillary lists)
Devata: Rudra as Śarva and Bhava; also Astra (personified weapon-power), and ‘Rājan’ as protective sovereignty
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (predominant in AV 6)
