Sukta 14
अग्निरिवैतु प्रतिकूलमनुकूलमिवोदकम्। सुखो रथ इव वर्ततां कृत्या कृत्याकृतं पुनः
agnírivaitu pratikū́lam anukū́lamivódakam | sukhó rátha iva vartatāṁ kṛtyā́ kṛtyā-kṛtáṁ púnaḥ ||
Let it go like Agni, even against the stream, as water yet runs with the stream; smoothly, like a chariot, let the Kṛtyā roll back again upon the doer of the Kṛtyā.
Qu’elle aille comme Agni, même à contre-courant, comme l’eau pourtant suit le courant. Qu’elle roule aisément comme un char: la Kṛtyā, de retour, de nouveau sur l’auteur de la Kṛtyā.
