अपो वृत्रं वव्रिवांसं पराहन् प्रावत् ते वज्रं पृथिवी सचेताः । प्रार्णांसि समुद्रियाण्यैनोः पतिर्भवं छवसा शूर धृष्णो

IAST Transliteration

apó vṛtráṃ vavrivā́ṃsaṃ párāhan prā́vat te vájraṃ pṛthivī́ sácetāḥ | prá arṇā́ṃsi samudríyāṇy ainoḥ pátir bhavaṃ chávāsā śūra dhṛ́ṣṇo

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

The Waters—Vṛtra who had encompassed them—he smote away; Earth, consenting, furthered for thee the bolt. Forth rushed the oceanic floods: be lord thereof by might, O hero, bold of heart.

Translation

Les Eaux — Vṛtra qui les tenait enserrées — il l’a frappé et chassé; la Terre, consentante, a fait avancer pour toi le Vajra. Alors jaillirent les flots océaniques : sois-en le seigneur par la puissance, ô héros, au cœur audacieux.
