Sukta 3
इतश्च मामुतश्चावतां यमे इव यतमाने यदैतम्। प्र वां भरन् मानुषा देवयन्तो आ सीदतां स्वमु लोकं विदाने
itaś-cá mām útaś-cāvatāṁ yamé iva yátamāne yadā́ etám | prá vāṁ bháran mā́nuṣā devayánta ā́ sīdatāṁ svámu lokáṁ vidā́ne
From this side and from that side, as though in Yama’s domain, let them protect me, the twain who strive, when men, god-seeking, bear this one forth. Let them sit down, finding their own world, their proper realm.
D’ici et de là — comme au domaine de Yama — que les deux, qui luttent l’un contre l’autre, me protègent, lorsque les hommes, en quête des dieux, portent celui-ci au dehors. Qu’ils s’asseyent, ayant trouvé leur propre monde, leur juste domaine.
