वशा गौः। ददामीत्येव ब्रूयादनु चैनामभुत्सत । वशां ब्रह्मभ्यो याचद्भ्यस्तत् प्रजावदपत्यवत्

vaśā́ gauḥ | dadā́mī́ty evá brūyād ánu caínām ábhutsat | vaśā́ṃ brahmábhyo yā́cadbhyas tát prajā́vad ápatyavat

A vashā-cow. ‘I give,’—thus indeed should he say, and thereafter should he cause her to be led up. The vashā-cow to the Brahmans who ask: that act is rich in progeny, rich in children.

Une vache vaśā. « Je donne » — ainsi, en vérité, doit-il dire, puis ensuite faire qu’on la mène auprès. La vache vaśā aux brahmanes qui demandent : cet acte est riche en descendance, riche en enfants.
