ápaḥ devī́r mádhumatīr ghṛtaścúto bráhmaṇāṃ hásteṣu prá pṛthák sādáyāmi | yát kā́ma idám abhísiñcāmi vo ’háṃ tán me sárvaṃ sáṃ padyatāṃ vayáṃ syā́ma pátayo rayīṇā́m
The Waters—Goddesses, honeyed, ghee-distilling—upon the Brahmans’ hands I set forth, each in due portion. What wish I, sprinkling this on you, do utter—may that for me, all of it, wholly prosper; may we be lords of riches.
Rishi: Hymn-tradition attribution variable (Atharvanic).
Devata: Āpaḥ (Waters) as goddesses; prosperity through consecration
Chandas: Likely Anuṣṭubh (verification needed).
