यौ त उरू अष्ठीवन्तौ ये श्रोणी या च ते भसत्। आमिक्षां दुह्रतां दात्रे क्षीरं सर्पिरथो मधु
yáu ta urū́ aṣṭhī́vantau yé śroṇī́ yā́ ca te bhásat | āmíkṣāṁ duhratāṁ dātré kṣī́raṁ sárpir átho mádhu
Thy two bony thighs, thy hips, and thy rump—let them be milked for the giver: clotted milk, milk, and ghee, and honey besides.
Tes deux cuisses osseuses, tes hanches et ta croupe — qu’elles soient traites pour le donateur : āmiḳṣā (lait caillé), lait, sarpis (beurre clarifié) et, en plus, miel.
