Sukta 10
ईर्माभ्यामयनं जातं सक्थिभ्यां च वशे तव । आन्त्रेभ्यो जज्ञिरे अत्रा उदरादधि वीरुधः
ī́rmābhyām áyanaṃ jātáṃ sákthibhyāṃ ca vaśe táva | ā́ntrébhyó jajñire átrá udárād ádhi vīrúdhaḥ ||
From thy paired supports the course was born, and from thy thighs likewise, O Vasā. From the intestines here were the plants brought forth; from the belly, from within, the herbs arose.
De tes deux appuis naquit la marche (le cours), et de tes cuisses de même, ô Vasā. Des entrailles ici naquirent les plantes ; du ventre, du dedans, s’élevèrent les herbes médicinales.
