यस्माच्च सामन्तादाबाधं पश्येत्तमुत्सवविवाहहस्तिबन्धनाश्वपण्यभूमिप्रदानापदेशेनावग्राहयेत्स्वमित्रेण वा ॥ कZ_०५.६.१० ॥
yasmāc ca sāmantād ābādhaṃ paśyet tam utsavavivāhahastibandhanāśvapaṇyabhūmipradānāpadeśenāvagrāhayet svamitreṇa vā
De tout chef voisin (sāmanta) dont il prévoit des troubles, il doit le tenir sous contrôle en l’attirant sous prétexte de fêtes, de mariages, d’écuries/attaches d’éléphants, de commerce de chevaux ou d’octrois de terres—ou en utilisant son propre allié comme intermédiaire.
