कापटिकश्चात्र पूर्वावरुद्धस्तेषामर्थमानावक्षिप्तमेकैकममात्यमुपजपेत् असत्प्रवृत्तो अयं राजा साध्वेनं हत्वान्यं प्रतिपादयामः सर्वेषामेतद् रोचते कथं वा तव इति ॥ कZ_०१.१०.११ ॥

Transliteration

kāpaṭikaścātra pūrvāvaruddhas teṣām arthamānāvakṣiptam ekaikam amātyam upajapet: asatpravṛtto ’yaṃ rājā; sādhv enaṃ hatvā anyaṃ pratipādayāmaḥ; sarveṣām etad rocate—kathaṃ vā tava? iti.

Translation

Ici, un provocateur (feignant la loyauté), déjà placé sous contrôle, doit sonder secrètement chaque ministre séparément, en disant : «Ce roi agit injustement ; tuons-le à juste titre et installons-en un autre. Cela plaît à tous — qu’en dis-tu ?»
