एवं भूतो वा समः सामन्तायत्तकार्यः कर्तव्यबलो वा बलसमाद्विशिष्टेन लाभेन पणेत ॥ कZ_०७.७.२० ॥

Transliteration

evaṃ bhūto vā samaḥ sāmantāyattakāryaḥ kartavyabalo vā balasamādviśiṣṭena lābhena paṇeta

Translation

Si (le voisin) est de cette sorte et d’une force égale, et que son entreprise dépend du voisin, ou s’il doit constituer la force requise, il doit marchander en offrant un avantage supérieur à ce qu’on obtiendrait sous une simple parité de puissance.
