Sutra 31

अभयवनमृगाः परिगृहीता वा भक्षयन्तः स्वामिनो निवेद्य यथावध्यास्तथा प्रतिषेद्धव्याः ॥ कZ_०३.१०.३१ ॥

abhayavanamṛgāḥ parigṛhītā vā bhakṣayantaḥ svāmino nivedya yathāvadhyās tathā pratiṣeddhavyāḥ

Les animaux provenant de forêts protégées —ou les animaux sous garde— s’ils causent des dégâts en broutant, après en avoir informé le propriétaire, doivent être contenus de la même manière que ceux passibles d’être tués (c’est‑à‑dire avec une prévention tout aussi décisive).
