FAQs

It states the measurable Ayurvedic outcomes—ārogya (health), doṣa-kṣaya (reduction of humoral imbalance), improved bala (vitality), varṇa (complexion), and svara (voice)—as the practical ‘fruit’ of the prescribed observance or regimen described in the surrounding passage.

By using classical Ayurvedic markers (doṣa, bala, varṇa, svara) to define results, the Agni Purana integrates medical theory and health-oriented outcomes into a Purāṇic framework, exemplifying its multi-disciplinary, encyclopedic scope.

The verse frames bodily well-being as a dhārmic ‘phala’—purification and balance (doṣa-kṣaya) manifesting as health, vigor, and clarity—linking spiritual observance with tangible purification and improved life-force.
