It prescribes a practical purification sequence—remembrance/invocation, offering rocana, performing cleansing acts (nirmañjana), and concluding with dāna (gifts of jaggery, salt, and coriander) to ritually dismiss inauspicious influences.
It combines mantra-style remembrance, material ritual substances (rocana), procedural purity acts (washing/cleansing), and charity (dāna) as a complete applied ritual protocol—showing the text’s coverage of lived religious practice beyond mythology.
Purification (śuddhi) and dāna together are framed as removing impurity and obstacles while generating merit (puṇya), thereby restoring ritual fitness and auspiciousness through both inner intention (smaraṇa) and outward corrective action (cleansing and gifting).
