Application: When teaching/reciting, note manuscript sigla and justify chosen readings; structure curriculum so students first receive dīkṣā, then vyākhyā, then pratiṣṭhā-related competence.

FAQs

It highlights prerequisites for authorized transmission—dīkṣā (initiation), vyākhyā (formal exposition), and pratiṣṭhā (consecration/installation)—and preserves a specific manuscript-attested reading about ritual/authority insignia (rosary, book, etc.).

Beyond theology and ritual, it reflects how knowledge is curated and transmitted: it explicitly notes variant manuscript readings (ka/kha), showing concern for textual integrity alongside practical ritual instructions.

By stressing initiation and proper consecratory/teaching preliminaries, it implies that practice and instruction should be undertaken with legitimate authorization, which safeguards efficacy (siddhi) and avoids ritual fault (doṣa).
