Īśvara (the Lord, speaking as the instructing deity in the ritual dialogue)

Concept: Mantra-vidyā is purified through correct linkage (sandhāna) to an authorized ritual kalā and through knowledge of tattva-structure
Application: Before advanced mantra-prayoga, align practice with lineage procedure and verify the metaphysical map (tattvas) that the mantra is meant to traverse/transform.

Related Themes: Agni Purana 85 (Pratiṣṭhā-kalaśa-śodhana conclusion); Agni Purana 86 (Vidyā-śodhana details; tattva enumeration continues in 86.2+)
It introduces the vidyā-viśodhana process—how a mantra-vidyā is ritually “connected” (sandhāna) with an established traditional kalā and then purified, following the earlier method (pūrvavat).
It functions like a ritual handbook index: closing one technical chapter (kalaśa purification for pratiṣṭhā) and opening another (mantra-vidyā purification), showing the text’s systematic coverage of consecration, initiation, and procedural liturgy.
By prescribing purification and proper ritual linkage of mantra-vidyā, it frames correct performance as a prerequisite for spiritual efficacy in dīkṣā and pratiṣṭhā—reducing ritual fault (doṣa) and supporting sanctified outcomes.
