FAQs

It classifies Pavitrārohaṇa—installing the pavitra as a completing element of worship—into nitya (regular) and naimittika (occasion-based) observances.

It systematizes ritual practice by defining categories of duties (nitya vs. naimittika) and introducing a specific temple/pūjā procedure (pavitrārohaṇa), illustrating the text’s technical coverage of liturgy and consecration.

By treating pavitrārohaṇa as a “completion” of worship, the verse frames it as a purificatory act that perfects the ritual’s efficacy, whether done daily as duty or on special occasions for specific religious aims.
